SR5 - What tire size will go on stock wheels without offsets or other changes

Your tire sidewall size will increase 1.1" when upgrading from SR5's stock 245/70R17 to a 285/70R17. Here's the calculations via a tire size calculator:

    400 mile trip across Florida

Thanks for the report that's great MPG! No road trip pics? Which 33" tires did you order for your SR5? Bigger tires should help with your issues with the ride.

SR5 - What tire size will go on stock wheels without offsets or other changes

Larger tires with their bigger sidewalls will have better ride quality than smaller tires with their shorter sidewalls. The bigger sidewalls are able to absorb more road imperfections like bumps & potholes.

NYTOP 4Runner 6th Gen Build Progress w/ Icon 2.5 shocks, +25 offset NYTOP wheels, 35's

That side by side photo shows how much better looking the 4Runner is than the Land Cruiser. Nice build @NYTOP. The carbon fiber fender flares look awesome. How wide are the flares? Same width as TRD Pro / Trailhunter flares or even wider?

First offroad run in my 6th gen 4Runner

Even the newest JL Wrangler doesn't drive as well as the new 4Runner if we're talking about daily driver use. It's still a complete brick of a car and feels unrefined compared to the 6th gen 4Runner.. The newest 4Runner is still excelling doing what it's done best at -- being a jack of all...

18" Method 320 (+18 offset) bronze wheels + Wildpeak 275/70R18 on Underground TRD Off-Road Premium

Good job. Bronze wheels just work so well on a grey vehicle. Which Wildpeak tires are these? Decide on a lift kit yet or staying at stock height?

Katzkin Leather Seat Covers Reupholster Install Experience and Photos

That turned out nice. I like the dark blue / teal look of the Katzkin leather seats. Thanks for sharing the sketchy parts too, makes sense you may have seen those as their prototype vehicle.

Took new 4runner into the mountains. iForce 4cyl Turbo

Good feedback. The previous NA engine could be a dog at high elevations. New turbo gas and turbo hybrid engines are shining for owners at higher elevations. One of the advantages of going forced induction. 👍 As for engine sound, I wonder if any aftermarket air intakes can help with improving...
