FitCamX got back to me very quickly...they said they have not released the 2025+ 4Runner version yet.
However, although this one is 75% there, I don't think I'll keep it.
Just installed a FitCamX 4K dashcam in my 2025 4Runner ORP. Will skip the install pics/instructions, there are many threads about this for the Tacoma.
After installing, I noticed the bottom of the unit does not lineup exactly with the bottom of the windshield camera area. I emailed FitCamX to...
Not so in the hybrid. As mentioned, if you are coasting or braking the engine will turn off while you're moving and also while at a stop -- doesn't matter how lightly you hit the brake. What you quoted from the manual sounds like it was written for the gas engine. I can see if Tow/Haul turns it...
As we've seen, the online specs aren't very accurate. I imagine all the hybrids have stop/start. The manual makes reference to this as well.
However, I found a spot in the manual where they spelled "does" as "dose", so 🤷♂️
I read the manual and I think Toyota's spec sheet online is just wrong. I have the rear auto braking and pedestrian detection, it's an option to turn off or on in the gauge cluster. And I think they're wrong about traffic jam assist as there's no mention of that in the manual at all.
There's no way to. But unlike on a gas only vehicle, it's pretty invisible. They typically have a different kind of starter, I haven't heard of any issues in any other brand with that.
2400W is standard on all hybrids, as far as I'm aware. Not an option.
Driver watch camera is a camera behind the steering wheel that monitors the driver's attention. Videos about traffic jam assist mention this camera prominently.
Based on the below image, I assumed I didn't have front and...

DETAILS & SPECS:
This is an early build hybrid...the VIN is <300. It arrived in the US on 3/3/25 and was ready at the (nearby) dealer on 3/20/25. Mine was not one of the ones selected for a...
Easy install? They offer a spare in case of install errors, curious if that's worth it.
Did you install the gauge cluster, climate controls, and shifter screen protectors as well? It's not listed on the 4Runner on the site but is part of the (identical) Tacoma kit.
Just an FYI, if your car is processed thru the Long Beach port, they don't have cargo covers. My salesperson said no builds with cargo covers actually arrive with them. I'll try to find it at a local dealer parts department or see if Longo will throw one in.
You can connect lighting or whatever you want to connect to wiring pigtails that plug into a connector under the hood. The connection provides power, ground, and the switch. It connects to a series of auxiliary switches near the driver's left knee.
There's no difference between a sunroof and...
Yes, Michael is my salesperson. I'm not sure what the TFS rate was, maybe 7.5%... The only special rates are on Tundras now. Their finance department can help you find a better rate or you can shop around yourself.
