Right. Now looking at the numbers more closely, it really doesn't make sense that the non-hybrid could be faster:
For TRD Offroad:
non-hybrid, 278 hp / 317 lb.ft / 4850 lbs: 17.4 lb/hp, 15.2 lb / lb.ft
hybrid, 326 hp/465 lb.ft / 5225 lbs : 16 lb / hp, 11.2 lb / lb.ft
It's annoying and disturbing when camping close to other people though, as the engine keeps starting and stopping when using something like a fan while sleeping at night...
I guess that's what a portable power station is for, right? 🙂
I hope so too, as I can make a pot of coffee or tea on an electric oven plugging in to the outlet, but I think I read it somewhere here that the engine would auto start/stop after a few minutes when something is drawing current. That would be very annoying!
I thought I read it here somewhere that it could be disabled with Carista. May be that was only for gas engine.
Anyway, you said it shut off the engine when coasting, is it like when we let off the throttle when approaching red light? It shuts off everytime you let off the throttle?
Wow, thank you for your review and pictures, that's very much appreciated.
- I believe your 2400W is added options? K according to the table posted here)
- what's this "driver watch camera' that you mentioned?
- you days it doesn't have parking sensor. What is it for?
- does it use only...
@Jpr18 Thanks for sharing the detail. Appreciate it. I'll probably will buy it from Longo too. I probably don't need the wheel upgrade.
How exactly do the prewrired switches work? Do they all have wires run to relays in the engine compartment so you can just connect anything to the relays...
