I just registered to this forum, even if I mostly post on T4R for now. I own a modified 5th gen which still have a long way to go before needing replacement.

Like many, I followed the 6th gen story evolve since too many years. So even if I am not on the market for a new one, this will certainly come at one point.

Just registered for 4Runner6G today. Hello everyone from beautiful Victoria B.C. Canada. Own a 21 4R 5th Gen Limited Nightshade, before that I leased an 2020 Audi Q5, and I've found I'm really missing all the Tech that the Audi had. So deposit is in for a 2025 or 2026 (maybe) 4R Platinum (since in Canada they gave me a 9-16 month window). She'll be my DD, as I own a 1995 Jeep YJ (owned since 96) for my weekending adventures. Cheers!

Welcome! How many miles on your 2021 5th gen? Is your 6th gen replacing it, or keeping both?

I'm also upgrading from 5th to 6th gen primarily for the improved tech (hybrid engine second and styling 3rd)

61,000 kms, I guess that's around 38,000 miles. Nope not keeping the 5th gen, it was originally bought for my wife & I to share since we both worked from home during covid, she has since bought a Rav 4 hybrid as she didn't like driving the 4R.

Hi 👋 fam,
Brand new to the 4Runner family , and just getting into light offroading , I'm waiting for my order of the 2025 4RUNNER TRD SPORT , this will be my very first vehicle , been waiting to get one for a while ( sadly I missed the opportunity to get the last 5th gen) but I'm hopeful for the 6th gen.

I chose the sport trim as this will mostly be my daily driver , and the most "rock crawling" I'll ever do is hit up the speed bumps at my local McDonald's drive thru 🤣👍

Greetings all, so glad to have found this forum! I started my 4Runner fun in 2004 with a new Sport V8, after 20 years and 130k miles I gave it to my nephew and got a new 2024 TRD Off Road Premium. Sadly, and uber driver ran a red light and t-boned me, and i ended upside down, totaled! Only 5 months, and 2800 miles. I managed to walk out of the truck, with so e soreness, and deep depression, ugh! So now im on the lookout for a 2025 TRD Sport Premium (like the color coded handles and fenders) in Cutting Edge. Its been difficult, thr Florida market does not seem to be getting them in for another month or so, very slow to arrive, and dealerships are already marking them up well above MSRP. Wish me luck!

Welcome to 4Runner6G Rick! Sad to hear about your short lived 5th gen ownership, but glad it brought you here to start your 6th gen 4Runner journey. Good luck in your search and keep us updated. 👍
