I went the other way - was hoping the 4Runner being so similar to the LC in platform and power plant would send me towards the 4Runner, but I'm not loving the looks compared to the Prado LC. But the price might bring me back to 4Runner country.... Or I'll just put another 100k on my 5th gen....

Yeah styling is all subjective. I like the LC and also agree that the GX looks better than both. You basically have 3 very similar platforms with different styling and minor options differences. I think that's a good thing.
