This is not true. You always pay the tax based on the state where you are registering the vehicle.
There are a couple of caveats to that rule though:
- Most dealers will collect taxes for your state and send them in for you, but not all.
- Some dealers don't want to deal with the hassle of...
My wife and I have VERY different seating positions so we love memory seats and that leads us to the Premium. The rest of the upgrades will be a cherry on top.
$57,788 is what a regular ORP goes for. The Hybrid ORP goes for a couple thousand more. On a base build on Toyota's website, it shows the price of the Hybrid ORP starts at $57700, but then you make a base build and with destination it's closer to $60k.
Is this Cool Springs Toyota near Nashville? If so, that's about 30 minutes from me and their pricing has always been way too aggressive. I've never had a good interaction with a salesperson there. That being said, they are in an area where people will pay what they ask because there's a lot...
We have a 2023 Honda Pilot Trailsport. We're 95% sure we're trading it for the new 4Runner. We love the Pilot, especially the 3rd row, but our favorite vehicle we've owned has always been a 2007 4Runner and always said we'd get a new one when it comes out. The 5% holding us back from trading...
I thought the Everest color wasn't going to be available in the TRD Sport. At least, can't build it in that color on Toyota's site.
Are we sure that's not Heritage Blue with a color filter?
That looks amazing! Do you by chance have pics of it stock? Pretty sure that's the same trim I'm going to order and would love to see an actual picture of it if possible.
I haven't used a sunroof in 15 years. We have a 23 pilot with the panoramic moonroof now and the only reason we open it is because my 3 year old loves looking out of it.
It's on the Off Road trims as well -- https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/threads/2025-4runner-trd-off-road-colors-interiors-factory-installed-accessories-post-production-options-ppo.1858/
Here in Nashville, the Toyota dealers put ADMs on almost everything, so I think there will be some for the Trailhunter and TRD Pro for sure. I'm guessing even the regular models for the first few months like they did with the Tacoma. But it was funny how fast it went from "every single one...
That's kind of what I was thinking too. We don't really care about a sunroof but I'm guessing they'll put it on most of them. We also wanted a 3rd row but don't really want a limited or an SR5. So it just brings the difference a lot closer between the 4Runner and the Land Cruiser. I've been...
I thought the last TRD Off Road Premium was around $47k from when we were looking at them. Could be wrong though. If the MSRP was $50k then yeah the price increase seems more reasonable.
$55k for the Off Road Premium seems way higher than I thought it would be. I was figuring around $50k-$52k. But also interested to know exactly what the premium comes with that makes it $5800 more than the regular Off Road.
I agree with all of this. Our goal is to buy ours by the end of next year for the reasons you stated. Getting past the immediate markups, but also gives me time to read about potential issues or things I should know about before buying.
From what I've seen, I haven't seen anywhere that says the 4Runner will need premium. Someone posted in another thread that it mentions 87.
On 87 octane fuel, Toyota says this engine will make a peak of 326 hp at 6,000 rpm and 465 lb-ft of torque from just 1,700 rpm. Towing capacity is 6,000 lb.
