Yeah, the only one I truly want is the mats. At least the steps look good, I guess.
I have no idea what the "Vehicle Protection Package" actually means, but I almost hope I find way to get $3k out of it so someone loses money on an obvious attempt at borderline theft by mandating the coverage.
For me, in Texas,, on an SR5:
Cargo Lights, Interior D-Pillar: $399
All-Weather Liner Package (floor and cargo): $378 (Same price as yours)
Ball Mount: $89
Cross Bars: $430 ($10 more than yours)
Cargo Cover: $199 ($64 more than yours)
Connectivity Kit: $75 (this and the ball mount annoy me...
This is only when you open the door when it's been raining or it's wet for some other reason. It's not a huge issue in the grand scheme of things, but it's still an odd one to me as the Gladiator had similar doors and didn't drip into the cabin.
The transmission kept bricking the Jeep, though...
500ish mile update:
The only design flaws I've found so far are:
1. The doors drip water into the vehicle when parked on a slight slope when they're wet. The top of the door is completely flat, so on a slight camber (such as when parked in the street) water drips off the inside corner of the...
It's added by the distribution company and not the dealer, so the dealer would have to eat the cost and we all know that's not happening.
My guess is that the distributor charges me $3200, the dealer pays them $2500 for it or so and make an extra $700, and the distributor spent $1500 on the...
Yep. Before buying I'd read that exact number and I expected it to be at least that but maybe slightly more as I wasn't sure what trim I'd seen that number for, but for whatever reason it's far lower.
It wouldn't have affected my decision, but it's strange.
This should answer everything and then some, I think. It appears the payload capacity is only 895 lb minus the 66 lbs of mandatories (they're not optional) for a net total of 829 lbs.
Yep. If I'm being picky, I'd add heated seats and steering wheel. The auto AC is the worst part. It's been a long time since I haven't had that feature.
The Gladiator was stock apart from a BAK 4S (I think that's exact name) hard rolling cover, sound deadening on the roof, and a headliner I installed when I got the truck.
Currently I'm not planning any mods, but that doesn't mean none will happen. I won't make any that significantly impact the...
