  1. Poll - What will you do with your 6th Gen 4Runner?

For real. At a minimum, it should be something done at the factory and since this isn't a Yugo I'm guessing the paint has been applied pretty well.
  2. Poll - What will you do with your 6th Gen 4Runner?

Yeah, the only one I truly want is the mats. At least the steps look good, I guess. I have no idea what the "Vehicle Protection Package" actually means, but I almost hope I find way to get $3k out of it so someone loses money on an obvious attempt at borderline theft by mandating the coverage.
  3. Real World MPG by Owners (gas non-hybrid 4Runner) - Post Yours ⛽️

About 50/50 but I've tried to vary speeds on the highway parts. I may have hit triple digits once. In kilometers 😉 87 octane
  4. MSRP Discount sighted, and it's laughable...

Sonic price, as in you can grab a meal there with the savings?
  5. Poll - What will you do with your 6th Gen 4Runner?

For me, in Texas,, on an SR5: Cargo Lights, Interior D-Pillar: $399 All-Weather Liner Package (floor and cargo): $378 (Same price as yours) Ball Mount: $89 Cross Bars: $430 ($10 more than yours) Cargo Cover: $199 ($64 more than yours) Connectivity Kit: $75 (this and the ball mount annoy me...
  6. 6th Gen, SR5 2WD is mine! My 1st 4Runner - Owner Review (coming from Jeep Gladiator)

This is only when you open the door when it's been raining or it's wet for some other reason. It's not a huge issue in the grand scheme of things, but it's still an odd one to me as the Gladiator had similar doors and didn't drip into the cabin. The transmission kept bricking the Jeep, though...
  7. 6th Gen, SR5 2WD is mine! My 1st 4Runner - Owner Review (coming from Jeep Gladiator)

500ish mile update: The only design flaws I've found so far are: 1. The doors drip water into the vehicle when parked on a slight slope when they're wet. The top of the door is completely flat, so on a slight camber (such as when parked in the street) water drips off the inside corner of the...
  8. 6th gen SR5 or TRD Sport? Is the Sport worth higher price?

I also wonder if they'll add in some packages after they're being made in volume. A premium package on the SR5 would solve most of these issues.
  9. Gulf States Toyota (GST) not releasing 2025 4Runners to dealers yet? [Update: vehicles have arrived now]

It's added by the distribution company and not the dealer, so the dealer would have to eat the cost and we all know that's not happening. My guess is that the distributor charges me $3200, the dealer pays them $2500 for it or so and make an extra $700, and the distributor spent $1500 on the...
  10. ICE CAP WHITE 2025+ 4Runner 6th Gen Thread

What's your favorite 6th Gen color: Ice Cap or Mudbath? I was forced to drive down a muddy road, so I thought I'd embrace it:
  11. What's your favorite 6th Gen color: Ice Cap or Mudbath? I own both now

I was forced to drive down a muddy road, so I thought I'd embrace it:
  12. 6th Gen, SR5 2WD is mine! My 1st 4Runner - Owner Review (coming from Jeep Gladiator)

Yep. Before buying I'd read that exact number and I expected it to be at least that but maybe slightly more as I wasn't sure what trim I'd seen that number for, but for whatever reason it's far lower. It wouldn't have affected my decision, but it's strange.
  13. Age Poll - 6th Gen 4Runner owners (and owners-to-be)

So far I absolutely love this vehicle. I can't believe the luck I had in getting one like I did, and the 4Runner itself is awesome.
  14. Age Poll - 6th Gen 4Runner owners (and owners-to-be)

I took delivery at 38, but today I'm 39. At least they're both in the same category so it doesn't matter!
  15. 6th Gen, SR5 2WD is mine! My 1st 4Runner - Owner Review (coming from Jeep Gladiator)

This should answer everything and then some, I think. It appears the payload capacity is only 895 lb minus the 66 lbs of mandatories (they're not optional) for a net total of 829 lbs.
  16. 6th gen SR5 or TRD Sport? Is the Sport worth higher price?

Yep. If I'm being picky, I'd add heated seats and steering wheel. The auto AC is the worst part. It's been a long time since I haven't had that feature.
  17. 6th gen SR5 or TRD Sport? Is the Sport worth higher price?

    I agree with this assessment.
  18. 6th Gen, SR5 2WD is mine! My 1st 4Runner - Owner Review (coming from Jeep Gladiator)

I'll try to remember to get this tomorrow.
  19. 6th Gen, SR5 2WD is mine! My 1st 4Runner - Owner Review (coming from Jeep Gladiator)

The Gladiator was stock apart from a BAK 4S (I think that's exact name) hard rolling cover, sound deadening on the roof, and a headliner I installed when I got the truck. Currently I'm not planning any mods, but that doesn't mean none will happen. I won't make any that significantly impact the...
