Perhaps mine is extreme, but it can’t hurt to get it documented with your dealership, the more it’s brought to Toyotas attention, the more likely they’ll address it for future 4Runner owners.
The dealership agreed the gap was not acceptable, they took photos and sent to Toyota corporate for a determination…. That was on 5 March… will update the thread when I hear back.
Thanks for the details, im going to the dealership next week to have them look at it…… I would normally do myself but want it documented in case it becomes an issue for more people; i saw trd Jon’s video and agree. I’ll update her post when I hear back from Toyota.
