Feel free to ask away. Stock the 4R comes with a TRD cold air intake and exhaust. It really makes a difference in the performance of the iforce max. The dealer said that they are talking to higher ups at Toyota about the exhaust tip issue. Kind of sounds like there might not be a solution. Would...
So it looks like on average right now Iām getting ~19 MPG. Thatās around the Denver area so my guess is the turbo is boosting a lot more at 6000ā than at sea level. This is close to the fuel number I was getting in my ā24 Land Cruiser as well
It doesnāt have that intake noise the TH has but with the TRD intake you can hear the turbo spool a lot more than my LC did. I personally like the turbo spool
Sorry for all of LC comparisons.
The 6th gen 4R is a really really great update to this platform. Toyota improved on the things the majority of 5th gen owners would complain about.
I really feel all of that. The full time 4WD was nice in the winter. Changing the fogs is fun but the front styling of the 4R Pro is just so good. I would imagine once you drive your 4R Pro youāll see how much more fun it is to drive than the LC. Itās crazy that they have the same power plant...
There are more cupholders and a few pockets in the forward molle panels have a bit more storage than the LC. Had the cool box on the LC and thatās where all the sunglasses and tissue lived so thatās the same amount of space in the 4R. The interior of the LC is a more premium feel but I wouldnāt...
If anyone on this thread ends up at Mt States Toyota in Denver see Alexandra Diehl and Sean Kramer. They do excellent work. Iāve bought all of my T4Rs there
Haha. Iāve been there not too long ago. I spent a lot of time jumping in and out of my Land Cruiser 250 and into this 4R trying to figure out this backseat stuff. What I determined is that the backseat space once youāre in the vehicle feels very similar to the 5th gen 4R. Itās also similar to...
100% agree with that. I messaged a bit with the guys at Team 4Runner on IG before mine was delivered. I was soliciting their opinion because I know that they had been invited to one of the 4Runner drive events earlier this year and wanted to hear some hands on opinions. The one thing they said...
I was told to wait for more info in the future. Not even their parts department can find a part number for this exhaust tip. We will see. But yes itās TRD exhaust and it sounds really really good
