Mobile 1 is fine, other reputable brands are fine too as long you go full symthetic and correct weight you can't go wrong. I have used in BMWs, VW's and other turbo engines and changed at 10,000 miles and never had issues with the type of driving conditions I drive in.
Of all the little things I would want to tweak...this one would be the last for me. The horn would be on the top of the list. The only time I personally have opened the hood was to install the hood protector (SR5) and a new horn. Having to setup the hood prop just did not bother me and my...
Out the door is going to vary from state to state...so you should ask for just MD. Like 6.5% tax in MD, in NC it is only 3%, so BIG difference in out the door. My 6 Gen stickered for $48,112 and I paid $42,567. Really like anything else depends on supply and demand. If people are willing to...
Yeah...very few and this is the first I have heard a tranny being replaced under warranty. I searched reddit and could find no posts with major tranny problems. This is no longer a new model...if there were systemic problems...we would know about it. Folks not liking the cold shifting is not...
Every 4x4 I have ever owned...that would be many, across most manufactuers has a rough shift before the the tranny fluid is up to temp. That is normal. If it does it after you have been driving for plenty of time to warm up...that may be a problem.
Bummer...yours is the first I have heard of this failure. The transmission is a little searchy between 10 and 20 under light throttle but when it decides what gear it wants it is does not slam into gear or make loud noises. This is 2nd model year of 6 gen...I think it is just bad luck. Having...
Well...if you feel you did not get ripped off that is all that matters! If you purchased an extended warranty or service contract at the dealership...you paid a premium. Those are big money makers for dealerships!
Ok a warranty and service contract are not the same thing! Yes you do pay, you paid up front! So you got ripped off! Your warranty has nothing to do with the subject...which is oil change frequency.
Not weird at all! Its a dealership, servicing vehicles is how they make most their money! I would never let a dealership service my vehicle, except for the free oil changes.
What Toyota recommends should be perfect...but to each his own! You think Toyota Engineers forgot they put a turbo engine in the 6 Gen when writing the maintenance requirements?
LOL...I live in civilization where that is never an issue...so I guess you are right there. Yes I pay...for an unlimited amount of music at my fingertips. I pay $16 a month for my entire family. Even then...thumbdrive is a better way to go!
