Great report! Appreciate the insight- particularly your info on fuel consumption. Iāve been concerned about the lack of fuel capacity in the TH. I run the national seashore south out of Corpus and depending on sand conditions see 9-11 MPG. Heading down to the Landcut in July for some fishing and...
That is an exceptional looking PRO and I think your focus on maintaining off-road capability was very smart. Iām using a lot of Mr. Westcottās products as well, and have found their quality and functionality to be very good as I fall into that rabbit hole of ābuildsā for my THā¦lol. When you...
I ran the stock AT3ās on TH for about 5k miles with no issues. They were quiet and handled sand, small/medium rock gardens and steps fine - though I was pretty concerned about punctures in the rocks. They were excellent in rain and surprisingly good in light snow which is pretty rare here in TX...
It does - just donāt have the Pro so I havenāt spent much time looking at specs for it. I can tell you that if youāre looking at OME suspensions, the TH OME (similar to the OME BP 51 but not identical) has performed flawlessly up to small/moderate rock gardens and steps. I think the MT64 will...
UCAās on the TH are forged billet aluminum - significantly stronger than cast. Canāt speak to the Pro since I donāt own one, but from appearances they look like the same material.
Yeah - I think youāre on the right track. I see a lot of folks going with the either of the Lo racks. I have the Westcott sliders and collar lift and I like their workmanship but Prinsu makes a pretty nice rack. Itās a tough decisionā¦lol.
Thatās the standard ARB that comes with the TH. Unfortunately, itās not well supported in terms of accessories so Iām looking to replace it with a full rack. You in Texas?
Well itās definitely louder than the OEM exhaust but nothing I would consider excessive outside that specific range. And it will modulate over time - gets quieter with about 1000 miles.
I had issues in the 1500-2000 RPM range, high gear (8), slow cruise. Very, very loud. Other than that it was fine. Gas only owners claim itās fine and no issues like I described. Hope it works out for you. Like I said, other than the RPM range I described, the quality was great, the fitment...
