2nd row vs. 3rd row: Cargo Space

If the 3rd row of a SR5 or Limited is down, would the cargo space be the same as a 2row version?

I live in Costa Rica and I just got confirmation from Toyota that the only 2 versions coming are with 3 rows. I don't want the 3rd row but it would be that or not buying the car. Any input on this?
