- 2015 4Runner Trail Edition
Only had it for 2 days and 40 miles, but initial impression is that the interior and tech is on a whole other level than my 2015 trail edition (non premium). The creature comfort stuff in this truck feels like I'm sitting in a range rover or something. Ventilated seats, amazing infotainment system, all the off-road tech, safety features etc. There is definitely hard plastic where there was leather/pleather in my truck, but not in any way that is a dealbreaker.Congrats to you guys! Are you jealous at allBut seriously how do you think the 6th gen compares to your 5th gen?
The drivetrain is a 100% upgrade. I almost couldn't believe it. This truck feels like a rally car compared to my truck in acceleration. The turbo 4 GETS. The 8 speed transmission is smooth and responsive. Ton of torque under foot on the low end and plenty up high too. I prob won't lift this one or do any real off-road mods, but may throw some 33" Ko3s on it. Will do a detailed writeup on differences soon and post it here
