For those of you who have your 2025 4-Runners, I am interested in the quality and looks of the fixed running boards. I am getting an SR5 id it was not optioned with anything. I was going to get the Toyota running boards thinking the fit and install would be good. I am not planning any off-road use, maybe light trails at most. I did all my off-road driving in a jeep many years ago :)

Its primarily to assist shorter or older people getting into the SUV. If it does provide any protection to the lower side, that is a bonus. I am looking for quality, strong, nice finish and made in USA if possible. SO, please shoot me recommendations and opinions on the Toyota fixed running board.

Also looking at Toyota mudguards, all weather mats as Wethertech does not have anything for the 6th gen 4-runner yet.

I am getting the feeling the 4-runner after market accessory scene is hot, like it was for my jeep!

I also am looking at the running boards and mudguards. Considering OEM, but not a huge fan of the two styles offered (fixed and not the step or tube). I liked the crushed black I had in my 5th gen and 4th gen.

I have one coming in in a week or two I'm hoping to have the same boards as the dealer had on his previous models that were already sold

Your spec sheet will tell you if you're going to have those or not. They are a port installed option that cost $1250.

I am guessing there will be plenty of OEM take-offs for sale from the TRD Off-Roads soon since they come standard on that model.

I am going aftermarket sliders. With that said I took off the OEM steps and in person especially it made the truck clearance look so much better.

May just come with the OR, I don't see them as a standalone part either. I am looking to get rid of mine but am in Colorado, DM me if you want to see if we can work out shipping.

Although I only bought SR5 4X4, the dealership gave me the opportunity to choose the package. If I only chose the Running board and the floor mats, the package price was only $1123. Unfortunately, I missed it. I insisted on removing the Running board that day. I insisted on canceling as many packages as possible. The next day, their manager gave me a higher price ($1332) package and told me that he had deleted as many packages as possible and their system could only do so much. I had no more choice for the new car. When I went to the interview , the package worth $1123 was no longer available. I had to choose a new combination, all-weather floor mats, USB cables, roof bar, fenders, cargo net, this kind of garbage combination, the value is indeed $1332. The salesman said that their system no longer allows him to choose the previous package combination again.
