I've got a Trailhunter on order. My wife is shorter and I have two younger kids, so I'm thinking I'd rather have the TRD Pro style steps. Is it easy to add steps or swap the rock slides for steps? I imagine they could be the same mounting location and an easy swap?

I believe the Pro style steps attach to the body as do most running boards/steps. The rock siders are designed to hold half the vehicle's weight and so are mounted to the frame. That being said I seriously doubt Toyota is making a completely different bodied 4Runner for the Trail Hunter so mounting holes/ locations should be there in the body. Might just have to source a hardware kit if its not included.
