VIN disappeared from tracking?

Curious if anyone else has experienced this. I've been tracking a VIN of a car I had the dealer put a hold on for me. Up to last Friday I was able to see the VIN on the smartpath.toyota.com web site and the spreadsheet that has been posted in this forum. As of Saturday, I can not find the VIN on either of those locations. I try to manually search again for the vehicle to see if it shows up for my local dealer but it no longer appears.

My dealer rep is on vacation this week. I'm going to check with him next Monday.

Status as of 3-31-25: Vehicle may be in transit. Estimated availability 04/21/25 - 05/22/25.

Same thing with mine. I think the dealer can maybe mark it as sold in the system which removes it from the search so no one can hit them up ?

Outside of my salesman i have no way to track it anymore.

A few of us were tracking our trucks and this happened. There appears to be a bug somewhere in their system that causes a temporary loss of data, fret not, it will reappear in a day or two.

A few of us were tracking our trucks and this happened. There appears to be a bug somewhere in their system that causes a temporary loss of data, fret not, it will reappear in a day or two.
Sounds like when a space capsule reenters the atmosphere. Temporary loss of contact.

After putting down my deposit in February, I tried to track the vehicle but nothing on Toyota or the data import sheets in this forum. My 4R did show up and I have had it a few days now.

This happened to me as well, it all came back and showed up two days later. I assume you are using "Inspect Element" to check yourself. When it appeared again on smartpath, I went from "A" to "F" with an ETA that was moved up. Not saying that a change like that is exclusive to the VIN disappearing but it was a nice surprise when it appeared again and I was able to check myself.

Oddly enough, this just happened to my vehicle again. I checked it this morning probably 4-5 hours ago. I just went back, and the vehicle is not showing on smartpath.

My situation was a bit different. I put down a deposit on an allocated vehicle with a local dealership in a Sunday. On Wednesday I went back to the Toyota inventory website and the vehicle I put a deposit on was no longer listed. I contacted the dealer and they said there was a mixup and the vehicle for which I placed a deposit on was not theirs to sell and the actual dealership that has that allocation made an input error that resulted with the allocation appearing with the wrong dealership. of course I raised the bullshit flag but other people have said this is entirely possible. IDK?????

Happened to me as well. Dropped from the dealership's website, the spreadsheet and also from smarthpath. I started wondering if the dealership sold it to someone else. I called the dealership and they said it had arrived and wanted me to come in to check it out.

I've been having the same issue since Monday afternoon. Doesn't show on the spreadsheet, smartpath or the dealers website. But I can still access the dealer spec sheet on it.
