I completely agree with Tommy - the 6G 4Runner will be the Tacoma SUV. Best way to differentiate from the LR without breaking the bank. I'd love a removable top, though. Ah, if wishes were horses we'd all be eating steak.

I've been watching those and think Toyota would do a better job from the start. I'm getting something with a peel-off top next and would be very happy to see a Toyota on my shopping list.

Dump the Turbo as the only engine and add maybe a diesel and removable top like the real 4runner had!

The new gen Tacoma still has no interior assist handle for the driver A piller, so the new 4Runner will likely not be equipped with one. This is a useful feature I would gladly pay extra for.
