Vehicle(s)
Not a 4runner

Now here me out, I know it's not a True Competitor.

Yes it's a Unibody Crossover SUV, and will not match the capability of a 4runner, but the Passport will definitely be cross-shopped with the upcoming 4runner.
  • Boxy design
  • Off-Road aesthetics
  • NA V6
  • Decent Honda reliability
If Honda keeps pricing similar or lower to a 4runner, I feel like this will fit the need and be popular for average person who does not need serious off road prowess and towing.

Well , they got my attention. For me that do level 3 OffRoad only , The breaking point will be my personal road test of both and the Price!

I like it but not a fan of the color scheme.

why would a Honda employee post this nonsense here. It's not remotely close to be being a competitor and far-off from being off-road ready. I can drive just about any car over the terrain shown in this vid, but that doesn't make it offroad capable. And to price it even in the vicinity of a 4-Runner is laughable and not in touch with reality. And AWS offroad is a recipe for epic disappointment. I get it, they want to leverage their existing vector AWS tech, but that's a bad decision. Same for the existing 6 cyl engine.
