I've always liked the grey / bronze-gold color combo. You should get bronze badge overlays to match your bronze wheels. Looks great on Underground.

It's not a 6th gen, but I had some methods left over and had them powdercoated bronze/rosegold and put them on my work truck.

Looks awesome. I’ve been searching for a 2nd gen for my son and I to build for his first truck, but if I could find a 1st gen I’d buy it for myself.

It looks awesome and I have that on the list as well. I am waiting for my buddy who owns a body shop to find out how much it will cost to swap out the logo grill for the Toyota like on the TRD Pro. I did that on my 2017 Tacoma and it looks so much better than the logo.

Ah, good thing you posted up then. There was actually a discussion about this today in this thread talking about the TRD Pro vs. optional TRD Wheels and comparing their specs & fitment.

I am going to reach out to the accessory manager at the dealer this morning. Seems odd that they would list the solid black TRD wheels with +20mm offset as an optional accessory for the TRD Off-Road if it was going to create issues.

Since the 6th Gen is so new none of online wheel shops had a way to preview what the wheels might look like on my Underground TRD Off-Road. So I decided to create my own in photoshop. I am going with these Method MR701 in bronze.

I just really like the look of the Methods. I did a lot of looking at the different styles by the various manufacturers and really fixated on the 701.

Thank you!! These have an 18mm offset. I am sticking with the 265 70R18 but will swap them out for KO3s. I had KO2s on my Tacoma and had great luck with them. Selling the stock wheels and tires to my father in-law to put on his 2007 Tacoma. He loves these stock wheels and was shocked that I would immediately replace them.
I have some bad news. Your 2025 4Runner wheels will not fit the 2007 Tacoma.

Unless I am mistaken, the center bore is too small. Most likely the Tacoma center bore is 106.1mm. Yours are 95.1mm.

@CrispyTacoLover is right. The center bores are different between the 6th and 5th gen 4Runner (95.1 versus 106.1).

Here are the official specs and how they compare for bolt pattern, lug nut size, hub center bore:

Thanks for that. I will let him know that they likely won’t work. His 2007 also has 16“ wheels so he would need to do tires as well and I think that was already a deal breaker. He just put new tires on it about 4 months ago and I doubt he is in the mood to buy another set.

I like the rims in picture 5 and 6. For me I am not a bronze fan. Now that's just my opinion. Go with the rims that you keep coming back to. That mean that is your first choice. The rim that makes you happy with your new 4Runner build.

I had an issue with my order for the bronze Method 701s. They were set arrive some time this week and still haven’t even shipped. I contacted the vendor to see what the issue was and they said they were waiting for stock. I hate it when they make a declaration “like ships in so many days” and they don’t even have them on hand or they are a drop shipper and don’t check availability before promising fulfillment. I’ve cancelled the order.

This all works out because I’m thinking about going with 17” wheels and trying to get the offset up to 25mm or 35mm. The 18” selections has far fewer options in this category.

I’ve been going back and forth on the bronze since I cancelled my order. I really love the Icon Compression Double Black. I’ve been seeing several of the posts with the all black wheels and it’s really grown on me.
