lol you guys put way to much effort into this.
since day 1 on my 2014, i ran it thru car washes. and 12 yrs later the paint was fine (as long as you didnt scrutinize it beyond casual looks. yes it had 12 yrs of swirl marks, but still original paint, never was in any accident)
did i care nope...
i know on my 5th gen 4R limited it came with oem iridium spark plugs, wonder if they will eventually go this route ???

to piggyback on /dev NULL's post
typical awd systems just employ the brakes to simulate 4wd and most will not let you perma lock the center diff. most will disengage after 25-30 mph (in toyota's at least). most of the time they are fwd vehicle and either shift to 60/40 bias or there abouts.

its an easier paper trail if you dont have cash, not just for you but all parties involved.
you will be surprised how much a paper trail is required for things now a days on big purchases like a house and so forth.
and its not always the other party forcing it, its usually federal rules that...
you can cancel the push to turn signal by hitting the opposite push to turn signal direction.
i have mine set to 7 since i usually take my time switching lanes.
sometimes i have to cancel it because the person behind me is impatient (not like i cant be either at times)
if its anything like the last gen taco/4R, the engine one is mounted somewhere high in the engine bay with a rubber tube ending somewhere in the engine bay. the rear vent is located usually on top of the pumpkin.

but then again during winters we dont have people randomly walking around checking car doors or looking to break windows in sub zero temps :)
its not the removal that is the issue (its still really involved on the non HV models), its the jury rig to level the load floor after your remove them.
someone posted a thread on removing the 2nd row on here.
luckily in ND we dont have that issue for 6 months of the year. plus the sub division has free roaming cats so that takes care of some of the rodents and bunny rabbits roaming around also.
have plenty of trap in the garage also, had an issue where they would crawl into the sub floor and make...
5th gen i think the 2nd row rear seats were around 85 lbs per section, so around 170 lbs i think.
another old post they weighed about 50 lbs per section x 2 without the hardware.
3rd row was like 100 lbs for the whole unit.
yeah im ok with the oem shifter in ND winters :)
i have the vents perfectly aligned with the shift knob so i only have to raise my hand to warm them up in the heated air stream :)
havent found a setup yet for the left hand vent yet, but the heated steering wheel helps alot
