I'm waiting for all my parts to arrive any day now, so in the meantime I stripped all the chrome Toyota letters off etc rear hatch, removed the SR5 badges, painted the front Toyota emblem logo, and removed the big 4Runner emblems on the hatch.

Windows were tinted a couple days ago 20% over the factory and 5% on fronts so they all match.

Nice job, looks so clean debadged and matching window tints. Thought you had 35's mounted already?

How hard was it to take off the SR5 badges on the side? If they need to be refitted for whatever reason, could they?

Great looking truck. My Heritage Blue SR5 is on the boat.

Was going back and fourth on debadging, now leaning towards yes.

Super easy. Take some 10lb fishing line and use a saw like motion behind the emblem. Try to stay as close to the emblem (and not the paint) as possible, will cut the mounting tape.

Once emblem is off it's a simple removal of left over double sided tape they use.

I suppose you could re install them with new tape if desired, mine usually get tossed.

Do you have a link to the lift you are getting, Local shop said suspension lifts aren't out yet.

The only debadging I'm considering would be to remove the ones from the hood, indicating the engine. I don't know which (if any) trim levels will have them, but I find them highly offensive. However, my wife probably won't let me. :(

"Offensive" LOL Of course you have a right to feel however you feel, but I am just a bit curious what you find offensive. Maybe you mean obnoxious or just not good looking or something like that. If you want, please elaborate. I am a bit amused by this and curious. Thanks,

Ryno - if you get a moment, can you take a close up pic of the rear hatch, where you removed the 4runner emblem? I cannot zoom in very tight on your pic.

I will in the next couple days, look at any stock pic, it has the big 4 runner emblems along the bottom.
