Haven't seen any pics of a Black TRD Sport until now. This one is a non-premium.

I like the hood scoop on black, looks more integrated than on other colors. And painted fender flares gives it that totally cohesive look.

I hate fakery so the hood scoop models are a no-go for me. Plus I read that they are distracting and interfere with visibility over the front end. They were certainly distracting in the 5th Gen, lots of people complained about sunlight bouncing off them and straight into their corneas at certain times of the day.

Bigger question though is why does the Sport cost so much more than the SR5? Is there really that much more content? Not seeing how this is worth 7K more than the SR5....

And to me the 20" wheels are actually a negative. I'd rather have the extra sidewall of the 17s.

That "Cohesive" look is precisely why I ordered my TRD Pro in black. Initially I was tempted to go with Mudbath, but black looks perfect to me.

Qi charger, extra USB ports, turn signals in mirrors, auto climate control, heated seats, inverter, leather shift knob, full digital instrument cluster, some dressy stuff outside (grille, tails), bigger wheels & tires (31.5"), color matched fenders. I expect some things like interior materials are better on the sport both in the seat fabric and touchpoints throughout the cabin.

I think the Sport looks the best in Black honestly. It really plays off well with the Sport wheels on this model. If I was going for this trim, this would be my choice of color.

Its the mall cruiser trim. Same price as TRDOR trim but you get less off road capability, it has gloss accessories instead of flat, flashy wheels and taillights, fake scoop, and no spare? (I actually like the clear taillights). The OR has skid plates, rear diff locking control, 18” wheels, and fixed running boards. The premium upgrade is worth the extra you get softex seats and a few other power controls, but you are stuck with the bigger teslaesque screen. The Toyota cloth seats are ghetto so its worth the extra.
