Yup, I decided to skip over the current gen, even though I know I'd get a reliable tank. I think having newer tech and better mpg is a win for me, as I plan on going 10+ years with it.
They sure did. You could get non-Pro army green, voodoo blue, quicksand, cement, lunar rock, and I think even lime rush.
I may or may not research it to see if all Pro colors followed the trend, but it could be interesting to look into and confirm. I'm assuming the color options were the same...
That's how it currently is, with the Limited only getting full-time 4WD. I prefer it that way, since it's nice being able to tell the vehicle when to use it (off-roading). You get more control over it when you can tell it what to do. Full-time feels more like a luxury feature, or for AWD...
I'm no expert on this, but it seems the Pro colors come down to the regular line the following year, for one model year. For example, Solar Octane was the 2023 Pro color, and now it's available on the 2024 Taco/4Runner main line, but it'll probably disappear after this year. I'm going to take a...
I'd shop around when they are available. Last time I checked with my dealer (few weeks ago), 2024 4Runners were selling at invoice (below MSRP). I don't know if that will/did change with the 6th gen debut. I personally wouldn't pay above MSRP for anything, but people must be, if dealers can get...
I did watch their truck MPG comparison video and I believe the Taco they bought got 26 mpg. I'm hoping the regular turbo 4 in the 4Runner gets similar to that. Sounds like the hybrid is more for power than fuel economy if the numbers are that similar.
They have a Pro in Ice Cap on the website, so we know that one as well. The Platinum was in silver but we don't know the name (unless I missed it somewhere).
Please see the official Toyota Reveal and Overview video that says it's only available on the SR5 and Limited trims. The hybrid has a raised trunk platform and likely won't pair with the 3rd row.
It was noted the 3rd row was only available as an option on the SR5 and Limited trims. It is at 5:22 in the official Toyota "Reveal and Overview" video on YouTube (not this video above).
The TRD Sport is color matched with the fenders and door handles on the new Taco. If 4Runner follows the Taco, the Sport will be color matched and the OR will be black accents.
Just a hunch, but I doubt ALL the black accents will follow the the OR. I bet just the fenders and the door handles...
Ya, I do not like that grill. I realize it is like the Taco limited, but it looks cut in half.
Also, the Limited looks like an Explorer in profile since it deleted the roof rails.
