Congratz on the purchase!
How's the interior quality and feel? I'm still waiting for a Limited and Platinum trim to show up so I can sit in it and get a feel for the interior. I sat in a SR5 trim 2 weeks ago and was pretty bummed at how much plastic there was in the interior, everything felt...

FWIW, Consumer Reports gave the 2025 Tacoma a predicted below average reliability rating. The 2024 Taco was given a below average reliability rating, with downgrades in its transmission, steering and suspension, and noises/creaks. CR gave the 2025 4R a predicted above average reliability...
I agree with your assessment.
I sat in the new Land Cruiser a few weeks ago, and for some reason, it just did not "feel and look like a Land Cruiser." For comparison I'm looking at trading in my 09 LX570 (essentially a suited up LC), and the new LC didn't feel right, felt like a downgrade from...
Thanks, good to know. I've been eyeing the Limited trim and Toyota website says no full size spare (just like the SR5). I was thinking the Limited and SR5 had no spare tire at all, but now knowing there's a compact spare, that's a little better IMHO, at least much better than a fix-a-flat.
Can you clarify "does not come with a full size spare tire?" Does that mean the spare tire you have is a compact spare tire? Or did you have to pay to have spare tire added? Thanks.
Thanks for the quick response and honest takes.
I'm guessing the light steering feel is typical of recent Toyota design. I recall the Grand Highlander as having a very light steering as well.
Nice to hear about the comfy seats and seating position, and very happy to hear the center console is...
Congratz on the purchase! I'm curious to know:
1) How's the steering feel? Is it tool light as some reviewers have mentioned? Any feel of the road? I suspect steering feel on the SR5 may differ than those trims offering Sport and Sport+ modes.
2) How's the front seats and seating position...
For the 4Runner anyone know what percentage of the parts are made in Japan? Any parts come from Canada and Mexico, or is it 100% of the parts from Japan?
I use the sunroof when it's sunny, esp since I live in the PNW where it's dark and rainy most of the time. Need as much Vitamin D as possible. I may be in the minority, but I wish the 6G 4Runner had a pano roof as an option.
Thanks for the pics. It was this video of the 4Runner Limited iForce Max, at the 8:10 mark he mentioned the full size spare tire:
Looks like a Goodyear Convenience tire? I can't tell if it's full or compact spare, and I don't see a spare tire as an option on the website.
Hi everyone,
I'm looking at the Limited hybrid, Limited non Hybrid, and Platinum trims on Toyota's website: https://www.toyota.com/4runner/features/mpg_other_price/8632/8668/8638
I noticed that on Toyota's website the Limited iForceMax and Limited non Hybrid powertrain do not come with a spare...
