This is so helpful, THANK YOU!!! QQ - may seem silly, but for clarity, what is the difference between Pre Sold and Dealer Hold? I paid $1k (was sent an invoice from dealer) for a specific VIN which is on its way from Factory to Port. We agreed to offer, once it is at the dealer I will then head in a pay what we agreed upon. It shows Dealer Hold currently.

There is a "presold" column. I purchased mine and it shows that it is presold but also available. Not sure what the difference is between the two.

Right, it looks like there's a separate database for hybrids, for all the other models anyway. It doesn't look like the script creates that file yet (for 4runners).

So it looks like the script needs something like this added to it:

100% certain that Platinums, TRD Pros and Trails will be popping up soon on this link. The beauty of this doc is that there’s movement everyday and it’s uploaded daily.
Also…I’ll add that I enjoyed seeing my targeted trim (Limited) slowly increase in my local area and surrounding states. For the Hybrid seekers, you may be at an EXTREME ADVANTAGE over casual seekers (that only refer to Toyota.com/local dealerships) as you may want to shop out of state for what you really want, and to also communicate with your dealer/ask about swapping out/trading.

I'll share a few things I've learned about swaps from my main salesperson contact (~25 years with Toyota). All swaps have to be approved by the regional distribution center, and they do reject many of them.

Make a note of which states are in your region and focus on dealers in those states.
Generally speaking, if your distribution center office approves a swap, it will be with an in-region dealership.
Some regions do not swap with each other (e.g. most won't swap with SE toyota and gulf states toyota). Swaps with the California regions are a pain and take extra time because of some lengthy title transfer process.

This is awesome, we went to test drive a sr5 yesterday as we were going to place a hold on a trd premium that was coming in. When we were test driving the sr5 the only trd premium they had was taken off hold by the purchaser, so we ended up test driving that also and walked away with it. If I had this list, it would have made it easier than searching and calling multiple dealers in multiple states to find one in stock.
