4Runner Hybrid octane rating and interior dimensions

Do we know yet what octane fuel the hybrid and non-hybrid engines will use? I really don’t want to half to pay for 91 octane fuel.

I’m also wondering what kind of head room the new 4Runner will have. I’m 6’ 2” and just barely fit into my 2018 4Runner (with sunroof).

Not sure if it has been confirmed, my understanding it will be premium fuel.

Taco hybrid is regular unleaded. Land Cruiser is premium.

Premium so where’s the savings using a hybrid ? That sucks in this economy,

Hybrid train for the trucks and SUVs are built for power with the added bonus of a little gas milage. We're getting more power with the I force max, at the same (or similar) MPG as the standard gas engine.

Also interested! The 2024 Land Cruiser, with presumably the identical drive train, recommends, but does not require, premium fuel. In other words, to achieve full power, premium is needed, but the engine will adjust accordingly for regular fuel. This is the way it should be with modern computerized engines!

gasoline with an octane rating
of 91 (Research Octane Number
96) or higher required for
optimum engine performance
and fuel economy.
At minimum, the gasoline you
use should meet the specifications
of ASTM D4814 in the
U.S.A..
