I don't even go to that other forum anymore. They say the most ridiculous things to try to justify their view that the 5th generation 4Runner is superior. They sound like fools that just can't accept that their 2024 looks like a 2010. I feel that once more people see this new version of the 4Runner rolling down the road, the demand is going to increase sharply whereas those guys are predicting that these will be stacking up on the lots.

A 5th gen owner posted this of his 4Runner next to the 6th gen Off-Road. 6th gen much better looking here as well.

Also, the models with the hood intake/scoop add a nice touch as well! Awesome pic comparison. Thanks for posting!

Great post! When I bought my 2018 Tundra, I spent so much $$ trying to make it look like the newer versions. Finally I had to STOP! HA!HA! I had to come to the realization that no matter what I did, I was never gonna make it look like the newest version. They roll out updated geni's for a reason. If you like the older versions, more power to ya. If you want the newer then just go buy it. Not real difficult. 1st world problems we are talking about, right :)

More comparison photos: 5th gen vs 6th gen 4Runner. This one's got some fisheye effect going on though.

Surely you cannot post these pics on "the other 4runner forum." It will get picked apart because of the fish eye effect and the fact the camera is closer to the 6G on the picture of the rear. Those things will totally invalidate the fact the the new generation looks....uhhhh - newer.

The new 4Runner looks great. I prefer the trims with body color fenders.
