7 Canadian Trims (Grades) Available for new 4Runner 6th gen

Seems us good folks in Canada will only have seven trims (or grades as they now seem to be calling it) to choose from........

So the two we’re missing out on are the TRD Sport Premium & TRD Off Road then? That‘s not ideal for middle of the road buyers then if you can‘t choose either Sport or Off Road in normal or premium. They can’t offer everything I get it, but it seems they like to offer less here even though it all comes off the same line.

The lack of regular TRD OR is kind of a dealbreaker for me unless the price is right. It's completely out if it comes with a sunroof I can't opt out of. Some people like them, for me, it's something else that can break or leak.

That makes it a bit easier for me I want one with. The matched Color fender . What Trim would it be???

As of right now the Limited and Platinum have colour matched fender flares.

SR5, TRD Sport, and Limited grades will come standard with the i-FORCE powertrain.

Can't wait to see unveiled pics of the TRD Sport and whether or not its got those awesome Trail Hunter flares! Probably not though ;(. I think the Tacoma Sport models historically have colour matched flares though?

The TRD Off-Road comes standard with the I-FORCE powertrain as well but that trim is not offered to us in the land of Ice and Snow.

Thanks for posting! Can't wait to see what the TRD Sport offers ie. which size gauge cluster and multimedia display. Won't be the premium model so time will tell...

You could consider looking at the Taco, and see how they build out for inspiration? I know you Canadians are weird, but hey it's a start.

Hey we are different in Canada not because we are weird but because we travel to the beat of a different drum. Uniqueness is not a flaw but an admired commodity.

Has anyone in Canada put a deposit specifically on a TRD Sport?

Can you provide any details on this model you received from your dealer? ie. engine, colour option, fender flare colour, entertainment screen size, paddle shifters, heated/cooled seats, softex or leather, interior colour, etc?

I placed an order on a Land Cruiser and 3-4 months later got a call from dealer with trim option details and wondered if it's the same for the T4R.
