Anyone test drive and reject their 6th gen upon delivery? [update: took delivery after taking test drive]

You can refuse to take the car prior to signing/closing. With that said; if you put down a deposit for it, i'd highly check to make sure it's refundable or the terms.

My dealer was telling me that it was non-refundable, at that point I was walking away & I drafted and had them sign a paper stating that 1 week prior to delivery; they have to notify by both text & email, at that point I have 24hrs to back out fully refundable in the event that I choose to not go through with the purchase. Works for both of us.

I highly advise test driving prior to committing to the new gen.

I must be reading your post wrong. What was the agreement, they had to notify by both text and email 1 week prior to delivery about what? I am not following.

Sorry for the lack of clarity. Just an agreement that makes my deposit refundable till a week prior to delivery; at that point it will turn non-refundable. I already test drove, and will be taking delivery once it arrives. I just wanted a fail-safe just in case I choose not to purchase.
