You can fit up to 33's on factory SR5 17" wheels.

Here's two examples of 33" tires on stock SR5 wheels on 2024 Tacomas (same fitment as 2025 4Runner) without modifications and no rubbing:

Agreed. KO3's look great and upgrade the look of the stock 17's immediately. So much more rugged looking.
