My dealer messaged me saying that a TRD Sport Premium that I have a deposit down on left Japan on 1/31, how long should that transit time take to arrive at my dealership?
What JenningsESQ says above aligns perfectly with the screenshot my dealership shared with me regarding my TRD Sport Premium that shipped out of Japan on 2/5. I am on the East Cost. Vessel Depart 2/4, Vessel due to arrive 3/5.@Henry posted this timeline of how long it generally takes 4Runners from build to delivery:

Shipping of 4Runners from Tahara plant in Aichi Japan to a US / NA port takes 2-4 weeks, depending on which destination port.
Processing / inspection at the port takes a few days to 1 week.
- West coast ports take 15-20 days
- East coast ports take 25-30 days
Delivery to dealership takes from a few days to a couple of weeks depending on distance of the dealership from the port.
Total time from build to delivery is generally 4-6 weeks.
Only info comes from the dealer, which is unbelievable given the current state of technology. What website are you getting that detailed info from using your VIN? I have my vin and understand from a dealer screenshot that its on the ship. I would love to get better tracking info.
The ship passage can take about 8-10 days depending on the ports, the ship, and the weather. The Pacific is a big ocean! I don’t know how it gets to your dealer from the port. Good luck!My dealer messaged me saying that a TRD Sport Premium that I have a deposit down on left Japan on 1/31, how long should that transit time take to arrive at my dealership?

Thanks!… that makes sense. Do you know what port and shipping line they typically use? My home port was LA/LB.once it arrives at a shipping port, its loaded onto railcar to a regional port. then put on a 3rd party transport truck to a dealer
