Anyone have trouble with pairing up their HomeLink and Garage openers? I'm pretty tech savvy and these 2 aren't pairing up at all... and Yes I have used the HomeLink website.

1. press the learn button on the motor
2. press the button you want to learn that door inside the vehicle

(you have to be fast on step 1 and 2, usually you have about 20-30 secs for step 1 and 2)

3. press the remote button that opens that door while pressing the learn button on the vehicle

after about 10-15 seconds the button on the vehicle should flash green

test

edit : caveat, i could have the procedures backwards also, its been so long. you may have to do the remote transmitter first then the motor learning

thats is the procedure i used on my garage doors for my 14 4R and 23 tundra

YES.. Usually you don't need your remote if you have a rolling code opener. I had to program mine using the learn button on the opener and then using the clicker, following the instructions that the 4Runner gave me. It worked the first time on my Sport premium. I think it was actually giving me instructions on the digital rear view mirror.

it really depends on your garage door model, i have an overhead garage door so mine are pretty simple per the website printable instructions

the buttons or the mirror homelink instructions are the same. the buttons are homelink also. they just moved them off the mirror
