Hello New England! Anyone else from my region waiting on a TRD pro in mudbath? My dealer has no updates on my order but I see in other parts of the country others may be getting them or at least have an estimated arrival

I am waiting in RI. I ended up switching dealers after my initial one was mainly unresponsive at best - they are estimating 2-3 mo wait (the first dealer was 7-10 mo wait).
I can update if I hear anything else - looks like all areas around me are getting them but nothing yet in mass or RI. My sales person said he would reach out every other week or so.

I’m in MA on the south shore. I’m getting my dealer’s first TRD Pro in about 8-9 weeks. It’s Underground. The truck is currently on the boat from Japan now and then needs to make its way here by rail after clearing customs. 🤙🏼

They are expecting their first 6G 4Runner on April 2 but it’s an ORP.

That’s great news! I’m happy to hear that you have an ETA
I’ve heard nothing. I’m wondering if because I’m in the Cape with smaller dealers I should look into other larger dealers? It’s hard being patient…

The problem is that they all have a waitlist at this point. I got on the list the day of the unveiling almost 12 months ago. My contact at the dealer said there are quite a few people in line for a TRD Pro behind me. If you are on a list it’s probably better to stick with it vs get on a new one but you’re right, larger dealers probably get more allocations.

I’m sorry I don’t have experience with your particular trim. But I’m on the South Shore of MA too, and I placed a deposit on an allocated Limited about two weeks ago. Mine’s on the boat and set to arrive end of April/early May. Sullivan Brothers in Kingston bent over backwards to swap allocated trucks with another dealer to get me my car. I was impressed with their effort, but also recognize I got pretty lucky. I would recommend finding a busy dealer you feel is proactive, and also check the spreadsheet for incoming trucks in your preferred trim that are allocated but not pre-sold. See if you have any east coast hits and reach out.
