Transmission failures in 2024 Tacoma may be debris related

In case you're following the 2024 Tacoma transmission issues -- this is what Toyota has posted about the 2025 Tacoma transmission failure. Appears to be debris related.

Obviously putting motor directly after trasmission is a high risk move.
They only told us pros but skipped the con part.
Torque matching and cooling will be challenging.
From the screenshot looks like the debris was from the torque convertor.

And judging by their turbocharged engine on tundra, new 4runner hybrid models can have TWO sources of debris from its powertrain.
