Upgraded reverse lights

I don't even have mine yet, but I'm already looking into add-ons. I guess my question is, how are the reverse lights, and/or has anyone come up with a cool idea for extra rear lighting? My '17 Tacoma has ditch lights for forward facing lighting, and I made a set of brackets to match for rear lighting that bolt to the bed, behind the cab.
