We knew production would have to begin soon since March was the estimated start of delivery, but if they're saying deliveries expected 1-2 months after production now we're talking January-February 2025 for first deliveries!! 🙌

I'm less concerned about timing...not planning to purchase until June, anyway. However, with only 2-3% in Trailhunter trim, not only will it be hard to find, demand will make many dealer more than happy to pop 10-15% markups (or more) on them.

I don't know how successful they'd be with this approach of limiting supply to gain higher profits. I do know other brands where this has become part of their strategy, but I would NEVER pay an ADM fee, regardless of brand. I laughed at all of them during the pandemic when they tried this and even two years ago when I bought a new vehicle. All the chumps that do this are simply fools.

Interesting that they're doing the slightly delayed production start date for the hybrid models, just like the Tacoma launch. Anyone know the reason? Must not be related to the production plant since 4runner and Tacoma are made in different factories.

Is this in keeping with the original production plan? Seems like all of the YouTubers dropped their content on the 6th gen months ago…

Everything got pushed back a few months. First deliveries were originally supposed to be by end of this year, but now going to be February-March 2025.

The Youtubers / automotive press have only gotten to look at and sit in the 6th gen 4Runners, not drive them yet. The press drive event is now supposed to be January -- see https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/thr...t-for-2025-4runner-6th-gen-january-2025.1745/

Pricing has to be right around the corner, right? Hard to believe they would start building without having the configurator available with pricing on Toyota's website.
From watching the new Tacoma launch closely last year since I was considering buying, its production started about a month after pricing was announced.

Since 2025 4runner non-hybrid production starts December, we should get non-hybrid pricing imminently. And hybrid 4runner pricing will probably be announced a couple months later in January 2025.

That's my guesstimate anyway🔮
