Allocations for 2025 4Runner hit Toyota dealers in second-half December

After reading that production starts December I texted my dealer this afternoon. Here’s what she (a sales manager) shared:

No 2025 4runner allocations are out yet but she expects first ones in second half of December. East coast dealers will likely get allocations first (just how it usually happens) but the 4runners will get built at the same time as the west coast ones. They just allocate earlier to east coast.

Interesting if true. I would have thought that the West coast would receive the first allocations since they are coming from Japan.

You bring up a good point about production location. I just asked and her reply was that:

"it (first allocations to east coast) may not apply with Japanese built vehicles, but the reality is they just allocate sooner, they don’t actually get them any sooner."

I see you're in TN...are you in Nashville? I'm trying to find a good dealer to work with but haven't had great experiences with the ones here yet.

That may be the case. Policies at the dealers change, so each person should do their due diligence and call/contact the dealer to verify

Live in Southwest Washington, any tips and or tricks, recommendations how to go about it? I’m a little overwhelmed with the process as well as quite amazed with the knowledge people on this group have!
