OK, so it looks like Trump will be our new president.
He has promised strong tariffs on all imported products, including automobiles.
My question is, if one were to place an order for a new 4Runner before he takes office in January, could one get around the tariff?

I’m trying to keep politics out of this discussion and just talk about how to get a good deal on a new 4Runner.

Considering we're looking at a March 2025 or later release date for the 6th gen 4Runner, none of us will be able to place an order / purchase before January 2025.

That's Toyotas problem. Don't worry about it until dealerships mark up the shipping price. I highly doubt it.

I hope that you're right.
