Anyone considering applying spray bedliner (Rhino / Line-X), vinyl wrap or PPF film on their flat or gloss black fender flares?

I'm concerned how the gloss black flares on the 4runner TRD Pro will hold up over time, so been thinking of protective methods.

Been thinking about this alot as well after seeing a good amount of content around the Tacoma and my choice of the underground color. I think i'll probably have my guy PPF the fender flares while they are doing "clearbra" to the front and side mirrors and see if that keeps them relatively safe over time.

How about buying after market parts for it and just save the gloss part for some other time. I know they will be coming out with carbon fiber so I assume they will have them in mat grey just lole the trail hunter

I doubt it'd be in the 3K range unless your going to a shop that absolutely price gouges. When i had my STi done full front, mirrors, quarter front fenders and trunk lid it was all sub 1K worth of 3M film. Now that I am considering that I also think it might not be a bad idea to get the flares wrapped maybe something close to the pattern this dude camo wrapped his tacoma 🤔

Just posted this to another thread:

Some Tacoma owners have wrapped (with gloss black vinyl) their fender flares, roof, mirrors, door handles for a TRD Pro look.

The vinyl wrap also provides protection for the fender flares, mirrors and door handles.

To wrap my Tacoma's hood was $500 as a point of reference.
