I was thinking about going with the trail hunter to bypass the massive seats in the TRDPro.
The seat size /shapes are the same in the Trailhunter and TRD Pro no? Just different looks I thought.

Maybe @eddie s is thinking of the seats in the Tacoma TRD Pro -- these Isodynamic Performance Seats with shocks? These aren't available for the 2025 4Runner TRD Pro.

I understand the snorkel for the trailhunter is not for crossing waterways but since it is an overlanding spec, it is to provide cleaner air to the engine.
The looks seem overly pretentious and the sound will become annoying after the novelty has worn off. But that is just me. This may well be the very thing many find attractive about the Trailhunter trim.
@Zaki is right about the Trailhunter snorkel. I just wrote up this explanation hope it helps members who think its purpose is deep water wading.

"Snorkel" on Trailhunter = raised air intake for dust prevention, not deep water wading

how could one with a 911 turbo ever say turbo noises "become annoying"? They almost make as many smiles per gallon than boats do!

Not turbo noise, rather the Air sucking intake whoosh from the snorkel at the passenger A pillar.
Turbo noise is a whistling sound at the exhaust end and not the intake. My 911 Turbo with the sport exhaust pretty much eliminates the turbo whistle and all you hear is a glorious angry roar which is remarkable for a turbo.
