Might have the first chunky hood dent on record so far. Not even 800 miles on the odometer and someone dropped a hammer on my hood apparently.

I currently have an appointment with one in the area

He’s booked out to next Friday but he’s one of the best in the area. Will be posting results here when it’s fixed.

Paintless dent removal technician came today. Went with a company called Pacific Coast PDR. Extremely quick service that was done within an hour.

He did not expect the hood to be made of aluminum but completed the PDR for a great price as if it were standard sheet steel.

Due to the type of metal he wasn’t able to fully remove the dent but if I were to quantify it, it’s clearly 90-95% better than before. Any further adjustment to remove the final divot would have cracked the paint.

For anyone in the South OC area they do amazing work and I’d recommend them.
