Agree, all info up to now was saying power running boards would be standard on Limited and above. Must be trying to make up some $ on the slow sales of the LC

power running boards are optional on Limited and Platinum
it's a bummer that they didn't make it standard on Platinum, but at least they offer fixed running boards standard on Limited and Platinum, I honestly don't mind fixed running boards, save $$$ and fewer moving parts

Is "Digital Key" where you don't need a fob, only your phone with you, to enter your car for example? So it basically can replace needing the key fob?

Yes, that is correct. It uses Toyota's mobile app via Bluetooth.

Yes, however, my experience with it is that it's finicky and I didn't get it to work on my Lexus.
Also, digital key gives you a credit card style key and I actually use that one more.

Wouldn't you still need to carry your key fob somewhere on you as a fallback? It would be a bummer to be locked out of your vehicle in the middle of nowhere.

You'd think it would be standard at that trim, but personally I prefer to not have them in the snow and ice of winter

The only time I think digital key is very useful is when you are going to any water adventure, regular key fob is not waterproof. Now you just carry your waterproof phone with you as digital key.
Just make sure the phone is not dead it should work with no problem.
