I agree with the dude. Honda has the passport planned out better than the 4 runner and is cheaper. I mean who in toyota thought it was a good idea to put piano black trim outside the car in an outdoor car. Their is no space inside either. I am still thinking of getting a 4runner trail hunter BUT the Honda still looks nice.

The piano black fenders/accents were a horrible idea. I have a 21 lunar rock pro, love it. And I just bought a 24 off-road premium when my girls car died. I had high hopes for the new one, however, I’m leery of the four-cylinder until proven, And with the hybrid model, I don’t like the fact that the rear shelf is raised up and hence less room. I also think the new pro interior is a little overdone. Still, off-road the 4Runner would be much better. For the majority of people, however, the passport will probably be great… I do not like it 8.3 inch ground clearance though.

I've never seen a brand so desperate (Honda) in an attempt to try and match an upcoming vehicle to Toyota. It's laughable. Now they have the influencers on board with this? Even more laughable.

That "V6" they are touting as some magical engine is essentially the same that's being recalled (1.4 million) for bad bearings. Add in AWD and struts, barely any clearance, and you might regret trying to compare apple to oranges. I'd take the Pilot on a smooth fireroad and that's about as much "off-roading" as it would get from me.
