Remote Connect standard? Digital Key add-on option?

I’ve seen a few build sheets with digital key capability as an add on($275) I thought all of the new Toyotas come with 1 year of remote connect? I have a Pro in mudbath set to board the vessel on the 12th of March. Want to make sure I have remote connect. Is the digital key add on just an extension?

digital key only works if you have a sub or part of the trial

remote connect you cannot buy anymore as a stand alone package, you MUST buy one of the other packages and they add remote connect for free.


digital key add on just changes a hardware item within the vehicle to allow digital key to interact with the remote connect features if i read it correctly.

Digital Key is something different. This allows you to use your phone as the vehicle key, meaning you can enter and drive away with just your phone in your pocket and no physical key.

you will still need a subscription to keep digital key working after the trial.

and btw remote connect is a free perk of the any of the subscriptions. you cannot get remote connect all by itself.

Digital key shows as on option on the Pro and trial hunter, I was hoping to try it on the off road premium
