Running power / cable from cab up to roof

Anyone (maybe even with a prior generation) have any ideas on how to run power or cables up to the roof? Looking mount my weboost on the roof rack and don't see a clear way to run the wires. Could just close the back hatch on them but that doesn't seem like a good long term idea.

I know what you mean but it seems like that is the way most people do it.

Dunno. When I had a third gen I ran the antenna wire for my CB out through the hole for a tail light wire. But that doesn't look the same on my fifth gen. I'll have to see what the sixth gen has by way of existing holes in the body.

I think I saw Baja designs? had a cable channel they sold to run up along the A pillar that blended in with the windshield
