Went 5% ceramic tint all around, Side and back are pitch black because they already have privacy glass, I think it looks amazing. Went with a clear windshield tint to protect the dash and keep it cool all around!

If you are in the OC area I recommend going to Tint Crew in Buena Park!

I dont care for the black rim trend thats goin on now. This one would defiantly look better and less cheap if it had contrasting colored rims.

Have to disagree Rich. I'm getting my 4R Platinum in Wind Chill Pearl, and I want no chrome anywhere near my ride. Just my .2c. (I currently have a 21 4R Limited - Nightshade though) To each their own right?

Things are cyclical. I remember a day when the color white was base and boring. It was cheaper than all other colors. Now we are in a world where the Wind Chill Pearl (white) costs extra. Me personally, I love the black trim (wheels, door handles, roof rack, valances, etc...) on the Platinum. It's one of several reasons that I'm getting that trim. A lot of people are hating on chrome right now. I'm one of them. I don't like all the chrome on the 5th gen Limited's. But, in 20 years (or less) chrome will be back in style and all the black trim will be out of style. Whatever. Find what you like, to your eye, and get that.

I had a friend back in the day in the car warranty business and he told me that it was his opinion that white and black vehicles do better on the resale market.

I think a lot of people are getting whatever is available unless they are willing to wait a while (months?) for their preferred trim, color, options to be available.

When I first saw comments on the "Underground 4Runner", I thought it might be some secret society of 4Runner owners. But it just means "dark gray 4Runner".
