Maybe these new, modernized 6 Gens are going to be wildly popular and waiting 9 months results with Toyota or Toyota dealerships becoming more obscene with their pricing strategy. Zero chance of that happening?

Yes, zero chance. The Tacoma was the hottest selling midsize pickup of all time. The Gen 4 was highly anticipated. The dealerships got greedy and did markups. They sat and now you can have your pick of any trim outside of Trailhunter and TRD Pro that you want for thousands off MSRP. I guarantee you the same will happen with 4Runner if you’re willing to be patient and wait for the initial hype to die down a little.

Really?! The Bronco rollout was a 3+ year fiasco with healthy MSRP's AND massive ADM's all over the country. Bronco inventory didn't finally start piling up until mid 2024, and there are still plenty of dealers that don't really want to negotiate much on them. And Wranglers have pretty big MSRP's these days, themselves. NOTHING is a bargain any more, and EVERY manufacturer charges big money for the loaded models.

Being able to get 4Runners at slightly under MSRP should happen for many trim levels around the 6-12 month point after they start hitting the ground.

The Tacoma body style did not stay stagnant for 14 plus years as did the 5th generation 4Runner. I know this is hard for a lot of 5th gen owners to accept, but I think there is going to be great demand for this modernized version of the 4Runner. I would say that I guarantee it but that would be meaningless as is your guarantee. But I guess that means you feel strongly about what you are saying which is cool if that is how you feel. So again, since the 5th gen has remain essentially unchanged for the past 15 years, I think many people are thirsty for this long overdue modernization.

I’m more talking about the mid to lower trims that will eventually be selling below MSRP, it may take until the end of the year, but I strongly believe it will happen.

Yup, that's exactly what happened / is happening with the new Tacoma, starting around this time last year when the all new 2024 Tacoma launched.

Agreed. I still see markups on Tacoma TRD Pro and Trailhunters but below MSRP deals on the other lower trims now.
