A local dealer in my area already has a nearly $4,000 discount on a TRD Off Road Premium. Has anyone else seen a discount this large yet?

The only way to know is that them for an out-the-door itemized quote, as if you were ready to give them a deposit and lock in a deal. Other than that, hard to tell.

Yeah, they’re gonna stick it to you else where. Those float around 57-58K MSRP. No way they’re discounting the 2025 4Runners yet. There hasn’t been one that’s made it to a lot before it’s been sold in my area yet.

Toyota doesn't care what the dealer sells it for, they made their money when the dealer bought it from them. We, the consumer, buy the cars from the dealer not the manufacturer. The manufacturer sells to the dealers not the consumers.

The vehicle is in transit. We have a couple of dealers pulling this crap in Seattle. It’s advertised lower and then when it arrives, it’s mysteriously priced adjusted due to market conditions. Good luck getting it at that price.

In the meantime they generate all sorts of interest from posts like this and people sending their information to the dealership to see if it's still available. Then they have your contact information and know you're in the market to buy a vehicle.

I really wish there was a way to just order what you want, complete the entire transaction online, and have the vehicle delivered. Then, just have some places setup with vehicles for test drives. The whole dealership experience is antiquated. I'll bet Toyota would benefit from this too. Imagine how many people would have already pre-purchased a 4Runner by now. You can still have dealerships too for people that like this fiasco.

That original MSRP they have there is pretty much the price for the Hybrid ORP. That’s a bad practice from this dealer. Shame on them to try to fool buyers like that.

$57,788 is what a regular ORP goes for. The Hybrid ORP goes for a couple thousand more. On a base build on Toyota's website, it shows the price of the Hybrid ORP starts at $57700, but then you make a base build and with destination it's closer to $60k.
