My hybrid (with a very low VIN and earlier ETA - by 3/23- than most on the list) is still not on the new hybrid list...I wonder if this has something to do with my dealer (Longo Toyota), as their own inventory online shows zero vehicles available and only a handful coming in.

My SR5 is processing at port per the dealer screen print. I searched for the VIN and all models matching in my state and it's not listed. What are reasons a model would not be in this worksheet?

Longo is where I am on the list to get a Limited IForce Max. I think they are the number one dealership in the country. This whole allotment thing is so confusing. You used to be able to order your 4Runner model with the exterior and interior colors you liked. That is not the case anymore. I just have to wait for the allotment to come in. I have wanted this Gen 6 4Runner since September 2024.

toyota has not changed they way they have done allocations in like forever. its the majority of dealers that refuse to let customers in to see dealerdaily allocation reserve request screens.


now if you put a request in with a dealer before toyota loads those vehicles into dealerdaily allocation reserve screens, then its upon the dealer to have an alternate tracking method for customers.

i just prefer to not do any business with my dealer until they tell me i can do an allocation reserve request.

When I bought my 1997 Toyota 4Runner Limited new which I still daily drive I ordered my colors and the car arrived 6 weeks later ready for me to drive off the lot but those days are long gone.

I've been on their list since early April 2024.

I would shop around, as many dealers are selling at MSRP and you may be able to get an allocation sooner

Definitely not. I have a deposit on one in Supersonic Red which is what I want. It is currently at the port with a QC hold for who knows how long. I was told that they are doing this with the hybrids to check the battery every Friday. This Friday will be the 3rd Friday so I’m hoping after next Friday they will release the hold and get it to my dealer.

While hybrid production is going to be less than gas production.....give it time. Production just started, and they ramp up volume slowly at first.
