Thanks; really appreciate you doing this.
What's the criteria for dropping off the list? Is this database somehow linked to Toyota's master database of completed sales and it removes that VIN and its data once the sale is entered?
Not sure what the criteria Toyota uses. The data in the spreadsheets is exactly what Toyota Inventory search (https://www.toyota.com/search-inventory/) shows in its graphql response it sends back (that is how I get the inventory). Note that I can send a request with a distance that is more than 500 miles from a given zipcode whereas a user is limited by manual entry on the webpage to only 500 mile radius even though the website can accept larger distances

One other thing to note is that I have the capability to automatically email/text a person whenever the results of a search criteria you supply changes. So you can specify what you are looking for and then the program searches for it say every 4 hours (or whatever period is desired) and then sees if a match occurs to your criteria and then if anything has changed from last time it will email and or text you the info.

For those that are familiar with python you can also download the project and run this yourself. See the Readme.txt file for more detail.

Thank you for sharing your experience

Actually, I discussed the price with them on Monday By SMS, and they allowed me to delete some packages, and then they upgraded the configuration in the system.
I asked to delete all the packages, and they said the system does not allow this. They told me that They could keep the running board in package Only, the total will be 42770+Delivery fee 1545+package 1128. Unfortunately, I did not agree to this offer. On Tuesday afternoon, their manager sent me an email to tell me that they would try their best to delete the packages that the system allows to be deleted, and the price was 42770+delivery fee 1545+package 1332, which was slightly more expensive than before. But it includes more expensive and useless products, mud guards, all-weather floor mats, roof bar, cargo net, charging cable, cargo cover
I think they are trying to find a combination system without running board that allows them to build.
I decided to meet with them on Wednesday and pay the deposit.
When I wanted to choose the package that was confirmed on Monday, they tried to apply for an update in the system, but the system did not allow them to do so. I had to accept the price that their manager emailed me. This price is the same as the one in the form you provided.
I don't know if this is a trick of the sales manager or if there are some limitations in their system. I am still very happy to have locked in this new black car.
Because their original package price is as high as 3900+, I am glad that their manager allowed me to select somethings. I asked many dealerships in Houston, and they didn't give me any chance to make a package choice.

I share my experience in the hope that it will help others
each regional port has certain restrictions and requirements for major options.

in my region (kansas city) when we bought our 23 tundra my regional port required that when you got the AVS package you had to check the automatic running boards.

the system would reject the allocation reserve request if it wasnt checked.

like i said each region is different.

there are more nuances for each regional port.

caveat, most of my info or posts are in regards to toyota usa dealers, regional port and info.

once you get into GST (gulf states toyota) or SET (southeast toyota) most if of the toyota usa rules dont apply since they technically existed prior to toyota usa coming to america. so they can set internal rules that fall outside of toyota usa rules. and this also applies to the financial arm for GST/SET since the family that owns GST or the family that owns SET also run the financial arm for those regions (sorta like how CARB can set rules above or outside EPA rules)

that may also why you see people tell others to get outside the GST/SET regions for better deals since they have some wacky things going on in those regions you dont see anywhere else.

also as a bonus easter egg, if you look at the window stickers on GST/SET regions you will sometimes see option codes with 3-5 characters. toyota oem option codes are always 2 characters

but they have gotten better at the options codes and now only use 2 characters but they are unique to the region and dont overlap toyota oem codes now a days. its to better hide some of the egregarious upcharges they add to the window sticker that frankly are money grabs compared to toyota usa window stickers.

"P4" is unique to GST for a $600 paint protection film upcharge that is purely a money grab.
